Jasud/ Hibiscus – Light Pink


Growing hibiscus is an easy way to add a tropical flair to your garden. When you know how to care for hibiscus plants, you will be rewarded with many years of lovely flowers.

Easy to grow
The plants can grow to 15 feet tall in frost-free areas.

Sunlight: Full Sun to Partial Shade
Soil: Hibiscus want loamy but not too heavy soil. Regular quality potting soil with added compost is an ideal base. The soil should be coarse rather than fine.
Water: Hibiscus like water but do not let it stand with wet feet. The soil needs to dry up between watering to protect from root rot



Hibiscus rosa-sinensis is a bushy, evergreen shrub or small tree growing 2.5–5 m (8–16 ft) tall and 1.5–3 m (5–10 ft) wide, with glossy leaves and solitary, brilliant red flowers in summer and autumn. The 5-petaled flowers are 10 cm (4 in) in diameter, with prominent orange-tipped red anthers.

Hibiscus are deciduous shrubs with dark green leaves; the plants can grow to 15 feet tall in frost-free areas. Flowers may be up to 6 inches diameter. Hibiscus can be planted singly or grown as a hedge plant; they can also be pruned into a single-stemmed small tree.
